Hello everyone,
Happening on May 26, at 6 degrees of Gemini, the new moon will highlight and emphasize all forms of communications, since Mercury the ruler of Gemini is also conjunct the luminaries. Gemini loves to share ideas, is quick-witted, mentally flexible, endlessly curious, and a bit scattered. The end of this month is a good time to actively brainstorm about your life, take a short trip, work on your book, article or podcast, network, and plan fun social gatherings.
Overall, this appears to be a favorable new moon for all facets of communication, since the Sun, Moon, and Mercury all trine Pluto in Aquarius. Gemini energy on its own can be erratic and distractable, but the easy supportive contact with Pluto brings focus and depth to mental pursuits, thoughts and conversations. Also, the same planets in the trine, the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Pluto, are in a sextile, a creative exchange, with Saturn and Neptune in Aries. This combination of air, planets in Gemini and Aquarius, interacting with planets in the fire sign of Aries suggests a highly energized period of creative thinking, building new social connections, and general excitement about new possibilities.
On May 25, Saturn will enter Aries for the first time since April of 1996, testing the waters until September 2, 2025, when it retrogrades back into Pisces. Because Saturn so often represents our goals and ambitions, you may find yourself revisiting some important pieces of your life from almost 30 years ago. On February 15, 2026, Saturn will finally move into Aries until April 2028. The period from the end of May until early September when a slow-moving planet enters a new sign and then retrogrades out of it, acts like a short trailer for an upcoming movie. You can’t see the entire movie yet, but you can get an idea of what it’s about. Because Aries represents action, initiative and rising to the challenge, we may all get inklings of new energy and where to channel our inner warrior.
Unfortunately, Neptune, the ruler of Pisces representing a dreamy, watery, and more internal or spiritually focused energy has been in early Aries since March 31, 2025, and will travel with Saturn until April 2026. This creates a major dissonance. By the time Saturn returns to Aries, this fall, Neptune will be there too, making it harder to stay grounded and focused. Focus on small steps towards your goals and take time to refresh your inner life.
