The heavens are exceptionally active right now as we move into the new moon eclipse at the 9th degree of Aries on March 29th along with two outer planets changing signs. Even though we can feel a solar eclipse up to three months before it occurs, often something shocking or unforeseen will often occur right around the actual date of the eclipse.
Just as the eclipse cycle of the last two years is leaving Aries, two major planets, Saturn and Neptune are moving into Aries. Neptune on March 31, and Saturn on May 25. They will be traveling together through late Pisces and early Aries until May of 2026 activating the 0 degree of Aries, a profound symbol of new beginnings; a marker of the spring equinox in the northern hemisphere
Saturn and Neptune conjoin approximately every 36 years, and in 1989, they were in the sign of Sagittarius, a sign associated with freedom and idealism; another fire sign like Aries. Saturn is often associated with structure, limits, and the material world, while Neptune represents dreams, ideals, and the subconscious.
The last time these two planets traveled together the Berlin Wall, a symbol of division and control, fell on November 9, 1989, marking a significant shift towards freedom and unity in Europe. Many astrologers see the Saturn-Neptune conjunction as a time when established structures are challenged or dissolved, potentially leading to transformative events. This conjunction falls on the Nadir, or foundations point, in the chart of the US. Given the overwhelmingly destructive changes happening in this administration this conjunction holds some promise of slow, grassroots-based change.
