Have things been going wrong, or maybe sideways? Do you feel like your wires are getting crossed and things are more complicated than usual? Maybe you’ve been struggling your way through extra red tape. That totally makes sense! On Sunday, October 25, 2026 we will experience an extremely Plutonian full moon right after Mercury has turned retrograde and in the midst of a Venus retrograde conjunct the Sun. Since October 4, we’ve been under Mercury’s retrograde “shadow”, contributing to this kind of confusion, along with a Venus retrograde since October 3rd, making our pleasure and enjoyment more elusive and distant.
Not only is the Sun in Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, but during the full moon both Sun and Moon make a square to Pluto, gatekeeper to the underworld and symbol for power struggles, secrets being revealed, and deeply buried collective forces at play. Pluto stands at the apex of a T-square, an astrological pattern of stress and imbalance that can sometimes force things to change. When patterns with Pluto, particularly in Aquarius the sign of personal freedom, are highlighted we get uprisings, rebellion, and a certain amount of disruption. Often things that have been put on a back shelf or shoved under the rug come out into the open in both collective and personal situations. We certainly are seeing this in France, Italy and Spain right now.
Along with the full moon, Venus is moving away from an exact conjunction to the Sun, and Pluto is conjunct Juno. Both Venus and Juno represent people we love and consider primary. This full moon may challenge your relationships in some way involving forgiveness, sharing power, and learning compromise. This energy is strongest for people with planets in the first 6 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
On November 13, finally Mercury turns direct, as does Venus on November 14. By the middle of November, we can expect an easing of some of the tensions in daily life. Until then remember the lessons of Scorpio season: you can only control what you can control, do what you can, and let go of all the rest.

Delineating the tools of working with death charts followed by using charts of class members, we will study your natal chart for clues hinting of the loss, study the death chart of someone you loved –all with a focus on how to bring understanding, meaning, and perspective to your loss.
